Standard 2.75mm
This is the guitar pick that started if all off. It is the core of our line. The original V-Pick. A fast action plectrum with a warm tone, yet lots of bite if you want it. It has the typical V-Pick "grippage." Good for all kinds of music. Has a natural, singing mid-range bump. One of our most popular and most versatile V-Picks. Three symmetrical corners give you three times the life, and V-Picks have a very long life. A great place to start if you're new to V-Picks. A lot of big time artists play this pick. Gabriel Manzo, Denny Jiosa, Jorge Santana, and Chuck D'Aloia. All of these guys are monsters on their instruments, and I am very proud to say they play the V-Pick Medium Rounded 2.75mm
Lite 1.5mm
A very fast action guitar pick. Warm sound. Big tone! A/B this pick with any guitar picks you are used to and you will be very surprised in the volume and tone differences. An extremely comfortable pick that is very easy to grip...your skin clings to the pick. No more dropped picks! Great Mandolin and Guitar pick! 1.5mm
Ultra Lite 0.8mm
This pick has some flex to it. The rounded corners glide over the strings like silk. Very fast action. Easy to grip. Gets a nice full, yet soft tone. Good for acoustic and mandolin players. Heck, some electric guitar players will probably like this one as well! .8mm
"Grippage" - You will not drop this pick using built in non-slip technology that we have elevated to an art form. V-Picks have an amazing ability to grip your fingers without being sticky or rough. They will not slip or slide around in your hand. Plus, the longer you play them, the more light-handed you become. This hleps you to become a faster and more accurate player.
TONE - V-Picks are loaded with tone, tone, tone! You'll hear an immediate improvement. We challenge yuou to compare our V-Picks with any pick you are currently playing. Play them side by side.. you'll be surprised by all the impressive tone you have been leaving inside your instrument.
The different thickness of V-Picks
Many V-Picks come in 3 different thickness:
2.75mm - This thickness is long wearing and also encourages the relaxation of the hand. Remember, the thicker the pick, the fatter the tone.
1.5mm - A thinner pick that sounds brighter & crisper
0.8mm - This size has a bit of flex in the pick and is the brightest of the 3
Premium 4.1mm - Much bigger tone, easier to grip, eliminate pain caused by using a filmy pick,
Pointed vs. Rounded
Pointed picks have a brighter, more articulate sound.
Rounded picks have a warmer, fatter tone with more mid-range
