I've been looking for a perfect overdrive for a while. I play church music most generally and I need something that cuts through a mix but that is transparent and light at the same time.

This pedal is perfect. I've been playing around with Tubescreamers for too long and none of them have delivered the sound I've wanted. The problem is most overdrives on the market boutique or retail are modeled after the same circuit of the tubescreamer. This JHS pedal however isn't.

They take a different approach and I love them for it.
